The
Unknown
artist

The Unknown Artist speaks through the visual language of Byzantine icons. Using traditional techniques and iconographic structures, she explores contemporary themes including war, capitalism, technology, desire, and the shifting boundaries between the sacred and the political. Her works transform familiar religious imagery into mirrors of the present moment, where faith, power, intimacy, and collective memory collide.
In 2022, The Unknown Artist participated in the Venice Art Biennale. Venice Art Biennale.
